On October 25th, 2016 Google will be extending their non-admin user password recovery to include email addresses.

Last year phone numbers were added, and now Google has extended it to e-mail’s.

Before you get started know a few things:

  1. The password recovery is defaulted to OFF for new G Suite Domains. You must go to your Admin Console and enable the feature by Ogranziational Unit in Security settings.
  2. Once added you will see the above prompt. Users will be able to add a secondary email address.
