I love using G Suite at work. I haven’t hidden that fact at all…ever.
In fact I’ve been using G Suite when it was called Google Docs. When I taught I used it for online collaboration, (against the school boards wishes) and even used Forms in their basic edition for testing.
One thing I always wanted was Images. Any image, honestly. The early days of Google Docs was a no mans land, but time has changed how we see everything.
Today Google has made it easier to insert images into Google Docs, Slides and Drawings!
All you have to do is choose Insert > Image or just click the Image button. Google has now given everyone these options:
- Upload from computer
- Search the web
- by URL
This is awesome and faster. Personally I use URL, but now that I can upload from my computer…I have to rethink my strategy.
Great update Google!
